Sunday, operated by Hauer Studios (“Sunday,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when using the Sunday mobile app.
Sunday is designed to help you create sacred pauses throughout your day by combining Scripture, reminders, and optional app-blocking features.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to provide and improve the app experience.
Information you provide or create in the app
Sunday may store information such as:
Your selected Scripture themes
Your scheduled “Moments”
Notification preferences
App-blocking preferences
Saved verse cards
Streaks, completion history, and app usage settings within Sunday
Any reflections, prayers, or journal-style content you choose to save
This information is used to personalize your experience and help Sunday function as intended.
Screen Time and app-blocking data
Sunday may request access to Apple Screen Time features, including Family Controls, Device Activity, and Managed Settings.
If you grant permission, Sunday can help block or shield apps you choose during scheduled Moments. Apple provides these selections through privacy-preserving tokens. Sunday does not receive your full browsing history, message content, private app content, or detailed activity inside other apps.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, Sunday may send reminders for scheduled Moments, streaks, summaries, or related app activity. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
Purchase information
If you purchase a subscription or premium feature, payment is processed by Apple and/or RevenueCat. We may receive limited subscription status information, such as whether your subscription is active, expired, or restored. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
iCloud sync
Sunday may use Apple iCloud/CloudKit to sync your app data across your Apple devices if iCloud is enabled. Data stored through iCloud is handled according to Apple’s privacy policies and your Apple account settings.
Scripture content requests
Some Scripture content may be loaded from external Bible content services. These services may receive basic technical request information such as your IP address, device type, or request metadata, as is standard for internet-based services.

Provide scheduled Scripture Moments
Save and display your verse cards
Manage reminders and notifications
Enable app-blocking features you choose
Track streaks and progress inside the app
Manage subscriptions and premium access
Improve app performance, reliability, and user experience

We do not use your personal data to sell advertising.
3. What We Do Not Do
Sunday does not:
Sell your personal information
Track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising
Read your private messages
Access your photos, contacts, microphone, camera, or location unless a future feature clearly asks for permission
Collect the content of apps you choose to block
Share your faith activity publicly without your action
4. Third-Party Services
Sunday may use trusted third-party services to operate the app, including:
Apple for App Store purchases, notifications, Screen Time permissions, and iCloud sync
RevenueCat for subscription management
Bible content providers for Scripture passage loading
These services process information according to their own privacy policies.
5. Data Storage and Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Some data may be stored locally on your device, in Apple iCloud, or with service providers required to operate the app.
No system is perfectly secure, but we aim to collect as little data as necessary and protect it responsibly.

Disable notifications in iOS Settings
Revoke Screen Time permissions in iOS Settings
Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID
Delete app data by deleting the app from your device
Manage iCloud data through your Apple account settings

7. Children’s Privacy
Sunday is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify users through the app or website.
