Welcome to Sunday. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Sunday mobile app, website, and related services. By using Sunday, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. About Sunday
Sunday is a faith-based app designed to help you build a consistent rhythm of prayer, Scripture reflection, encouragement, and spiritual focus. The app may include Bible verses, prayers, devotionals, reminders, journaling, app-blocking or focus tools, and personalized spiritual content.
Sunday is intended for personal encouragement and spiritual growth. It is not a substitute for professional counseling, medical care, mental health treatment, pastoral care, or emergency support.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Sunday. If you are under the age of majority in your location, you may only use Sunday with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
By using Sunday, you confirm that you are legally able to agree to these Terms.
3. Your Account
Some features may require you to create an account or sign in. You are responsible for keeping your account information secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Sunday may offer free and paid features, including premium subscriptions.
If you purchase a subscription through the Apple App Store, your payment will be processed by Apple. Subscription terms, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled according to Apple’s policies.
Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple App Store account settings.
We may change pricing or available features in the future, but any changes will be communicated where required.
5. Use of the App
You agree to use Sunday only for lawful, personal, and respectful purposes.
You agree not to:
Misuse, copy, resell, or exploit the app or its content
Attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the app
Use Sunday to harass, harm, or impersonate others
Upload or create unlawful, abusive, hateful, or harmful content
Interfere with the security or functionality of the app
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe these Terms have been violated.
6. Spiritual and Personalized Content
Sunday may provide prayers, devotionals, reflections, Bible-based encouragement, or personalized suggestions. Some content may be generated or customized based on your app activity, preferences, or inputs.
While we aim to provide thoughtful and uplifting content, Sunday does not guarantee that every reflection, prayer, recommendation, or devotional will perfectly fit your beliefs, circumstances, or interpretation of Scripture.
You are responsible for using your own judgment and discernment.
7. Focus and App-Blocking Features
Sunday may include focus tools, app-blocking features, screen-time prompts, reminders, or habit-building tools.
These features are designed to support your personal discipline and spiritual rhythm, but we cannot guarantee that they will block every distraction, function perfectly on every device, or prevent all unwanted app usage.
You remain responsible for how you configure and use these tools.
8. Notifications and Reminders
Sunday may send notifications, reminders, or encouragement if you enable them. You can manage or disable notifications through your device settings.
We are not responsible for missed, delayed, or undelivered notifications.
9. User Content
You may be able to enter prayers, journal entries, reflections, goals, or other personal content into the app.
You retain ownership of your own content. By using Sunday, you give us permission to store, process, and display your content solely as needed to operate and improve the app.
You are responsible for the content you submit and agree not to submit anything unlawful, harmful, abusive, or infringing on someone else’s rights.
10. Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
By using Sunday, you also agree to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Intellectual Property
Sunday, including its design, branding, features, text, graphics, logos, software, and other materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reproduce any part of Sunday without permission.
Bible verses, translations, or third-party content may be subject to separate copyright or licensing terms.
12. Third-Party Services
Sunday may rely on third-party services for payments, analytics, authentication, cloud storage, app functionality, or content delivery.
We are not responsible for third-party services, websites, policies, or practices. Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
13. No Guarantees
Sunday is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do our best to provide a reliable and meaningful experience, but we do not guarantee that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or perfectly accurate.
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app at any time.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sunday and its owners, employees, partners, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of access, emotional distress, spiritual dissatisfaction, device issues, or subscription-related disputes handled by third-party platforms.

You may stop using Sunday at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the app, create risk for other users, or if we discontinue the service.
